For our Moerdijk facilities, we are looking for a JUNIOR PLANNER (fulltime).

Job description

As you know, flexibility is very important in logistics companies. No two days are the same!

You will convert planned activities into work orders, so that the production process can be started up. You will develop a realistic weekly plan for the production, taking into account the availability of materials, available capacity and customer demand.

Your daily activities will include:

• Management and initiation of a realistic weekly plan for operations;
• Determining production priorities, bottlenecks in the terminal and ship planning;
• Identifying and reporting bottlenecks in the planning and implementing them;
• Communicating with the Senior Planner as soon as the production does not realise the requested output;
• Monitoring and optimising the production performance;
• Taking care of internal and external reports.

Job requirements

• You preferably have 1-2 years of experience as a work planner/junior planner in the logistics sector;
• You have a MBO+/ HBO working and thinking level, preferably in the logistics or maritime sectors;
• Affinity with shipping and logistics;
• Good Dutch and English skills (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of computer systems, including the MS Office package;
• You show initiative, are inquisitive and solution-oriented and you have a hands-on mentality;
• You are flexibly available for 40 hours a week. Working at the weekend is part of the job.
