Technical Account manager / business developer (fulltime)

What does the job involve?
VRR has an unique product portfolio which matches the sustainable needs of the market, but requires the persuasiveness of a representative. Therefor our sales and marketing team is looking for a fulltime account manager with a clear focus on creating new opportunities in the market and also supporting existing customers throughout the order process. For this you will closely work together with your colleague account managers and our internal teams, such as the Engineering or Operational departments, to offer the best possible solutions. Your duties for this will include:

• Staying engaged with existing customers by anticipating on their needs and informing them about new product developments and market insights.
• Creating sales opportunities at new and existing customers by collaboration and anticipating on changes.
• Acting as a liaison between customers and the internal teams throughout the order process, and also managing any concerns or customer complaints that may arise.

Who are you?

• You at least have a bachelor's degree in a commercial or technical field
• You at least have 7 years of experience as an account manager or business developer.
• You are working at a technical company preferably there is a connection with the aviation industry, manufacturing industry or maritime industry.
• You are able to travel on a regular basis for visits to customers, conferences or exhibitions (on average once a month).
• You are eager to create new relationships with (potential) customers that result in new business but with respect to existing procedures and work agreements.
• You are able to communicate and translate customer requirements to the internal stakeholders.
• You are able to effectively collaborate with other internal stakeholders to provide comprehensive support to customers in the event of complaints.
• You are able to structure your own work and are familiar with state of the art CRM and ERP systems to support you with this.
• You are curious and creative in your approach.
• You have excellent proficiency in English (at least level B2, speaking and writing).

De containers worden door onze eigen engineering afdeling ontworpen en getekend, als de klant tevreden is worden de benodigde materialen besteld en gaan onze technicians aan de slag.

De functie
Als technician assembleer je onze containers met behulp van duidelijke tekeningen. De collega's van het magazijn zorgen dat je alle benodigde materialen voor het grijpen hebt, zodat je niet hoeft te zoeken naar materialen en gereedschap. Je bent onderdeel van een team en afhankelijk van het type container werk je soms alleen of met elkaar. Je begint de dag met een 'dag start' hier wordt de planning besproken en de zaken waar je de vorige dag tegen aan gelopen bent. Er is veel ruimte voor eigen inbreng. Zo proberen we bij VRR elke dag een beetje beter te worden in wat we doen, om uiteindelijk een kwalitatief hoogwaardige container op te leveren.

Over jou

• Je houdt van techniek en vindt het leuk om dingen te assembleren
• Je kunt technische tekeningen lezen
• Je hebt minimaal een LBO diploma
• Je bent pro actief, wat inhoudt dat je zelf zaken oppakt en dat je het aangeeft als je een probleem signaleert
• Kwaliteit leveren vind je belangrijk
• Kennis van 5S en Lean methodes is een pré
• Je bent graag onderdeel van een team maar kan ook alleen werken als dat nodig is.
